3. GAME OVERVIEW
Users compete during the regular season playing as many games as they can to earn tokens. For now, players can spend this tokens on in-game purchases. In game, players either can use tokens on things such as training (upcoming), purchasing cards (available), renting a Ballie (limited), renting a gear item (upcoming), recovery drinks (upcoming) and buying the entry for the final tournament (upcoming) or just exchange them (sell them) for IRL money (upcoming).
4. GAME MODES
In the Beta Game: Currently, the game is limited to a 1v1 mode, in which users have the option to play with their own Ballies or rent Ballies without the need for a wallet connection.
In the Future: There will be also 3x3 and 5 vs. 5 game modes. One of the main reasons for the game’s horizontal approach is the planned addition of 3x3 and 5 vs. 5 game modes in the future. These modes will require a wider screen and more space to display the multiple Ballies on each team. 4.1 HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?
In the Beta Game: The game is played by 2 people (known as players from now on).
When searching for a real player, the game will spend a considerable amount of time to find a suitable match. However, if a real player cannot be found within a certain time frame, the game will assign a CPU opponent based on the skill level of your Ballies. This ensures that players always have a match to play, even if there are no available players online.
The CPU opponent is designed to provide a challenging and entertaining experience, and is programmed to adapt to the player’s level of play. Players can still earn rewards and progress through the game when playing against a CPU opponent.
In the Future: Teams will be formed.
4.2 WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE GAME?
The goal of the game is to get 11 points before your opponent. Whoever gets 11 points first, wins.
4.3 HOW DOES THE GAME START?
In the game, a simple flip of a coin will decide which player gets to start the game on the offensive side. The coin flip is a fair and unbiased way to determine the first possession of the game, and it adds an element of excitement and anticipation for both players.
